What is left from your delivery sales?
Enter sales and costs for one period. See what remains after advertising, where losses begin and what would change the result.
Your numbers
Use a month or a week. Every amount and order count must cover the same period.
Illustrative numbers, not a client result or a benchmark. Replace them with your own figures.
Use one currency throughout. Changing the label does not convert amounts.
Percentage of sales after refunds, before discounts. Choose Amount for exact reported costs.
Discounts, refunds and other costs
Optional: blank means 0. Include only costs you pay. Do not deduct the same amount twice.
Calculations run in your browser. Your figures are not sent or saved.
Your result will appear here
Enter the five main figures. Enter 0 for costs you did not incur. Unknown costs are not treated as zero.
Before ads, management and fixed costs.
For the same order volume and all other costs entered.
At the same average order value and cost per order.
Taxes and costs you have not entered are excluded. This is the delivery business result, not proof of advertising effectiveness.

Metrics and formulas
What if you change…
Try a scenario. Order value and variable costs per order stay the same; management and fixed costs stay unchanged. This is a calculation, not a demand forecast.
How the calculation works
Revenue minus refunds, fees, food and packaging, discounts, advertising, management and other costs entered. The ad budget ceiling is the amount left before advertising. Break-even order count holds average order value and variable cost per order constant and rounds up.
FAQ
Is platform-reported ROAS the same as profit?
No. Reported ROAS divides attributed sales by ad spend and normally excludes food, packaging, platform fees, discounts, agency fees, refunds and fixed operating costs.
Can I compare Grab Ads and Gojek Ads with this calculator?
Yes, by calculating each platform separately with the same period, currency, order status and cost definitions. Do not treat unlike attribution windows or revenue fields as equivalent.
Does the calculator prove incremental orders?
No. Incrementality requires a credible experiment or counterfactual. This tool normalizes reported economics and exposes assumptions; it does not prove what would have happened without advertising.
Are my restaurant figures uploaded or stored?
No. The calculation runs locally in the browser and the form has no submit endpoint. Avoid pasting personally identifiable customer or order-level data because totals are sufficient.
Which costs should be included?
Include period-aligned costs that the business can verify: refunds, merchant platform/payment fees, variable product and packaging cost, merchant-funded discounts, ad spend and the relevant management fee.
Can ALEX-DIGITAL guarantee the calculated break-even result?
No. It is a diagnostic sensitivity based on the figures and current unit contribution you enter. Demand, competition, platform rules, product mix and operations can change.
